Statistical Data Analyst

Dr. Mansi Agarwal is a senior statistical analyst in the Division of Biostatistics at Washington University. She joined Biostatistics in 2021. She holds an MPH in international health epidemiology from the University of Michigan (2009) and a PhD in epidemiology from Columbia University (2017). Dr. Agarwal’s research interests include infection prevention in clinical settings, the interplay between infectious disease and chronic illness, and the epidemiological drivers of infectious disease. She has worked in many research areas including hospital epidemiology, infection control research in nursing homes and home health care, social support in older cancer survivors, syndromic surveillance, and HIV & TB studies in sub-Saharan Africa.  Her statistical research interests include longitudinal analyses, mixed methods studies and survey measurement and analysis.
