Daphne Lew


Dr. Lew is an Instructor of Biostatistics at Washington University School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Public Health Studies with a concentration in Biostatistics from Saint Louis University. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree with concentrations in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Saint Louis University. Dr. Lew is also affiliated with the Center for Population Health Informatics at Washington University’s Institute for Informatics.

Dr. Lew is engaged in a wide range of research areas, from clinical trials to global health research. She has expertise analyzing data from a variety of sources, including observational research studies, administrative data sources such as electronic health records, and clinical trials. She has worked on projects related to severe asthma, mental health of children and families, obesity management, infectious diseases, and rheumatologic diseases. Currently, her research goals are to understand the impact of social determinants of health on patient outcomes.
