Dr. Guoqiao (Peter) Wang is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a PhD in Biostatistics in 2014 and has an MS in Mathematics.
Dr. Wang’s research interest focuses on the design, analysis and interpretation of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) clinical trials. Currently, he works with Dr. Randall Bateman and Dr. Chengjie Xiong on designing and implementing clinical trials for autosomal dominant AD (ADAD) within the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network. The ADAD clinical trials involve novel platform designs and time series analytical models such as state space model.
Dr. Wang also works with a disease registry, the North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis (NARCOMS) Registry. Collaborating with the NARCOMS team, he has been conducting research in MS for over 3 years.
